Vajrasattva Practice—Are we really buddhas? with Sébastien Reggiany
The practice of Vajrasattva, within the ngöndro, marks the entrance to the Vajrayana. Based on the outrageous view that we are all buddhas, this path offers many powerful skilful methods to swiftly actualise the purity of our own inherent, enlightened nature and heal on the most profound level. But who is really Vajrasattva, what does he represent, and how can he help us? Could it be that we are one and the same?
About Sébastien Reggiany

Sébastien Reggiany was born in France and fell in love with the Dharma in 1993 while travelling to northern India. He met Sogyal Rinpoche in Paris in 1994, and has studied with him ever since, as well as with other masters invited to teach the Rigpa sangha. Quitting his job as a physics teacher and leaving his rock band, he entered a three-year retreat in Lerab Ling, Rigpa’s retreat centre in southern France, from 2006 to 2009. Sébastien later helped organize and hold international Rigpa retreats, serving as Sogyal Rinpoche’s teaching assistant.
Since 2009 he has been focusing more on Vajrayana topics by guiding students through the Vajrayana cycle of the home retreat programme, preparing students to receive empowerments, clarifying the Vajrayana path in Rigpa and guiding National Retreats in France. Sébastien is known for his clarity and preciseness when unpacking Dharma topics and openness in engaging with students and answering their questions. He was entrusted as a Rigpa Senior Teacher in August 2021.
